Champions summer camp at Bancroft

Anyone ever enroll their kids and have any feedback? Surprised they still have openings (which I'm taking as a not great sign), but it's significantly better timing than the other program I'm currently enrolled in.

I think one of the big problems was that they announced it so late in the game - after most people had other plans. We go to Bancroft (and Champions) and would have loved this, but had already signed contracts elsewhere. Apparently Ms. Cousin will be leading part of it. My guess, though, is that it will be an extended day of regular Champions - a lot of games, crafts, and some outdoor playground time. I don't get the sense there is special programming.

We're already signed up for the DCPS "regular" summer school. It's free

We have done this over multiple years. It’s fine - usual champions thing. Champions tends to be very flexible/expansive in terms of the number of children they can take so the availability of spaces isn’t necessarily a sign of lack of any quality - you get what you pay for.
