On a scale of 1 - 10,
1 = Oh Hell No 10 = No big deal FWIW I'm at about a 7. |

Newark, meanwhile I would give a 3. |
We do it all the time. I would say 7. Newark I would also give a 3. I do not like this at all. |

8-9. I travel every week or two for work and don't have much choice. |
I am personally choosing Dulles or BWI. Would not use Newark either.

I have almost exclusively flown out of DCA for 20+ years and am now choosing Dulles unless there is a really compelling reason (like, it's the only direct flight or the only one with times that meet my needs) to fly out of DCA. So I'm probably a 5 or 6. |
10. No problems with it. Aside from the delays from ground stops which may bring it down to a 9 for me. |
6 or 7 with DCA, probably a 2-3 for EWR. About where you are. |
I live in South Arlington so the convenience can't be beat, though I did choose Dulles for one of my flights this summer because I'd be lying if I said I felt totally comfortable. I happened to fly out of town the day of the recent accident and I'd be lying if I said it didn't rattle me. |
It's our closest airport and was my preferred, but now no. I am avoiding completely. |
5?
I'd schedule a flight out of DCA if it were the most convenient. But I'd think about it while waiting to get on the plane. I wouldn't say I'd be anxious, but I'd be thinking about it. If Dulles or BWA is equally convenient, I'll choose that flight. |
I was fine until we came back from recent trip. Our plane circled around quite a bit before we landed at DCA. I fly frequently and this seemed ‘out of the norm’. It was only unsettling because of the recent DCA issues. Next flight will likely be out of IAD. |
I’ve flown in annd out of dca three times in the last few weeks. No problems at all. It will take a lot to get me to choose Dulles. |
4.
I used to fly out of it probably 5 times a year and Dulles the other 5, but I will only book DCA if it's really compelling like significantly cheaper or direct flight that isnt available at IAD. |
