What do you mean? It’s usually the opposite with boys swimming first.

Oh, I blanked on that! At Super Sectionals in Richmond girls ate first.

Girls are odd number events and boys are even numbers in club swimming.

And both summer and HS swim are the opposite (at least NVSL and VHSL are) so it evens out.

My favorite meets are the ones where all events run as mixed gender heats. Even better if it’s mixed gender and age. Everything runs so much faster. A few of the prelim/finals meets run as mixed prelims, which shortens the session. This was new to us when we moved from ny to a mountain state.

MCSL and MD high school boys first too.

In our experience club swim / winter meets always had girls first but summer swim / PMSL always had boys first.
