GAO works for Congress. Where are Republican representatives telling DOGE to back off? So far I’ve only seen Democrats.

Doge has fired left and right at the Library of Congress, which serves congress. So apparently nothing is off the table.

Unlike the Library of Congress, the law specifically states only Congress can remove the head of the GAO.

DOGE could shoot someone on Fifth Avenue and they wouldn’t lose any Republican representatives.

Yes, seems like radio silence from GOP. Have not seen any statements thus far but hoping it changes.
