All the Other Mothers Hate Me, by Sarah Harman

Has anyone read this? I’m a bit more than 25% in on audio via Libby, and though it has so many elements I usually enjoy, I just don’t care much to know what happens. No spoilers, please, but if you’ve read it, does it get better? Is it worth pushing through a bit more?

I think at 25% if I’m not excited about it, it’s a DNF

I finished it, and I thought it did get better after a slow start - although I wouldn’t say it was outstanding. Enjoyable enough to finish, though.

Same. But I'm a bit more on the fence about this one . . . which is why I'm curious to hear what others who've finished it have to say.

I’m about a 1/3 in and I hate it. The main character deserves how unpleasant her life is.
I think I have to quit reading.

Maybe it needs a soundtrack.

I believe someone local on here was trying to release am album called "All the PTA Moms Hate Me".

Anyone know if it dropped?

OP here. I ended up finishing it, but only because nothing better had come in from my Libby waitlists.

I agree with PP about the main character. Immature, not bright, and not interesting. I wrote her off and just cruised through it as a simple mystery. Meh. At best, 2.5 stars out of 5.

I think it does get better. I’d call it enjoyable, not life changing.

I thought it would be better than it was. I read about 1/3 of the print version and then gave up because better books came off hold on Libby. I’m glad I’m not alone in not finishing.
