This rain....

Is anyone tired of this weather?

no, because we're in a drought and we need the rain. It's also not hot, which is great because I don't like using air conditioning. I prefer this calm steady rain to a thunderstorm (I know getting struck by lightning isn't common, but it is a risk). None of us are made of sugar; we won't melt in the rain.

I like it.

Good for my cherries and blackberries. I'll take it.

Glad for the drought relief

Love a rainy day like this. It’s a beautiful sound. It’s cool with windows open and the fans going. The trees and flowers look brighter against the darker branches and stems. Love it.

I woke up to the sound of rain through the open window last night and it was pure bliss. What is it about that sound?

That said, everything smells kind of swampy. I could live without that.

It’s nice. Only drawback is I can’t mow my lawn, my mower is electric. My neighbors are sending me dirty looks.

Too much. Too soggy. Not enough time to dry out.
