| There's a really steep gradient for the drought. It's been a mild drought where I am, but where my parents lived until last fall a mere 45 minutes away was moderate approaching severe. |

Yes, we rarely received any rain last summer and into fall. Usually a rainy fall will make up for it, but we didn't have one. And we usually have a rainy April, but it was hot this year for a large part of April.
