Why do people post answers from Claude and ChatGPT

I have noticed answers here being posted from Claude and ChatGPT. That is hilarious. Do they think the OP can't search those tools on their own??

Why do people take the time to copy / paste answers like that? We never did that with Google search results, and these AI tools are basically big search engines.

It's a higher quality AI that can be very useful.

I've definitely seen a few things that were AI generated, maybe bots, maybe just someone playing around. I haven't seen an abundance of them, though. What forums are they appearing in?

I want to add that I do not use ChaptGPT or any AI. Much prefer the humans - even if responses differ from my point of view or are riddled with spelling, punctuation and grammatical errors. No AI can replace your brain. And yes, I am talking to you.
