Eggs tumbled almost 13%. They're still up almost 50% from a year ago because of the Biden economy.

Inflation is not really controlled that much by the POTUS. We said that during Biden as well.

Furniture and appliances, you know, things directly subjected to tariffs in April, were up significantly, so that is something to watch.

The next month is when we should start to see the bulk of inflationary impact.

Inflation is not really controlled that much by the POTUS. We said that during Biden as well.

while normally a true statement, forcing a tariff-based trade war is infact, inflationary and was wholly pushed/caused by Trump.

True. Traditionally, and some would argue legally, the POTUS doesn’t have the authority to levy taxes or tariffs. Just another example that shows why Trump is unfit for office.

Many of the people who teleworked did so before the pandemic, yet the economy was fine then.

A nice little dip before the massive up-tick coming from the tariffs.

DD works at Target and has been tasked with slowly increasing prices for the last 2 weeks. Also, the store just received their first stock for Christmas 2025. They usually don't get that until July. They received their back-to-school 2025 stock in February which normally doesn't arrive until May.

Lock downs and work from home policies did not damage the economy or cause inflation. Trillions of Covid rescue dollars being pumped into the economy by Trump and Biden in a short period of time along with the very cheap cost of borrowing money contributed to the out of control inflation. If you want to point fingers, point them at Trump and Biden and the idiots who elected them along with the Fed Reserve for keeping rates too low for too long.
