New bump/mole on scalp, video visit ok?

Maybe an odd question, but I have this new thing on my scalp and I think I should get it checked out. I have KP. I'm inclined to pick an in-person visit, but they offer video and phone. If I choose a video visit, the doctor will just make me come in, right?

Yes - because they may need to biopsy it. That’s the only real way to know what something is.

Definitely in person. Love online but not for moles bc they need to see it in person

In person, they need to look at it closely and feel it.

Maybe they will suggest a removal. Do you plan to surgically remove it yourself?

Go in person; they need to look under that magnifying glass thing-y.

Unless you're already under the care of a dermatologist, you need a whole body check. Aside from that, you should go in person. Don't delay. (I'm not suggesting it's "something" I just know people put things like this off)
