You could go to Best Buns Bakery and put together a bread basket identical to the ones at Great American Restaurants.

Thanks for these suggestions - I've checked several other places (including Balduccis and Wegmans) and was surprised not to find really anything that I had in mind.

I find Wegmans bread options in their bakery surprisingly disappointing.

Isn't Lidl similar to Aldi? I appreciate the low prices at Aldi, but I can't say they have interesting bread choices that I would love to find in a nice restaurant bread bowl.

I seem to recall an apple fritter of some type and croissants? But nothing bread basket worthy.

Lidl has amazing bread. Their rosemary bread is delicious. Don’t knock it until you try it.
