NCSL and SY vs BY

Does anyone know what NCSL will do in 2026 with the whole SY vs BY issue? My son is a December birthday, and is mostly playing travel for fun (crazy I know). He’d love to be able to play with his friends, but they’re all a few months younger…so a different year. The switch would mean they can be on the same team.

I asked our team manager and he didnt know of any changes. Teams are slates fkr the 25/26 year so I don't think anything will change.

Yeah nothing is changing for 25/26. I was asking about 26/27.
