Do you think a light beige would work?

Yes
That dress is basically a nightgown. |
Or silver? Or even gold depending on your complexion |
This is not the dress at all fwiw, just the specific color and a long gown. |
But would beige be okay? This is for dd and prom and there is no way she'd rewear silver (doesn't like) and the beige would be more casual for rewear as well. She and I think beige but mil says silver and she has friends who say gold. So I am just checking to see if we are crazy to think beige would be good. |
| I would do a darker tan/ brown |
| Nude scrappy sandal would work. |
| Birks |
Agree this would work if you want a rewearable shoe. |
Doc Martens. |
Is she trying to toughen the dress up or dress it down - or dress it up (it sounds like no)? Because it really changes depending. She could wear Chucks and do the whole fancy/slobby thing (which is cute, I think). |
Yes. And almost all of the girls in prom dresses will be wearing a nude-colored shoe with their prom dress. If you look at all of the sorority graduation tiktoks of girls showing off their outfits, 90 % of the girls are wearing nude/tan/beige shoes. Silver and gold would be fine too. |
| Is this for prom? Silver or bronze. |
| Silver would look best, or a nude |
| Yes but only if you are tan. Otherwise with the light dress color and light shoes you will look washed out. |
