We're getting married next spring in Los Angeles, and looking into venues to get an idea of the prices and what's out there. So, we found this one, Republic, and oh my - I LOVE IT. Sooo beautiful, elegant, classy, I just love it. It is within our budget, but the problem is - we want a small, intimate wedding, no more than 50-60 guests. The space, however, is described as ideal for couples seeking a big wedding, and for a good reason, based on the photos. I mean, yes, we'll go visit it in person, but it really seems all the ballrooms are quite spacious. I am worried it will just look empty with our guest count. What do you think, is there a way to work around this? Have you maybe been to a wedding with fewer guests in a fairly big space? I'm trying to think of something creative here, but my brain is stuck.
