Matched school declined our enrollment

| We submitted the enrollment package for our matched school before the 5/1 deadline. We got an email from the My School DC today that our enrollment was declined. I’ve reached out to the school but don’t have any other information. Has this happened to anyone?? |

If you were on time and don't hear back from the school immediately, I would call the my school DC staff for assistance

| What school? Some schools have extremely incompetent admin. Make sure you stay on it. |

| I called 2 days before the deadline and the admissions person had not even seen our package come through. It took 30 seconds to approve my kid. Keep calling and also call MySchoolDC for advice. |

| Make sure you did the residency docs correctly. Likely there was an error in the packet, or a mismatch. I had an enrollment initially rejected because of a missing unit number on address. |

| School got back to us and it was a mistake. Waiting on them to update My School DC. |

Please call MSDC and make them aware of this. There have been other anomalies at schools this cycle and they need to know so they can address it with the schools. Confidence in the lottery is what makes it worth doing and they do work hard to ensure individual schools don't undermine it. |
