supergoop products- can you explain the differences to me?

Anonymous
There are so many supergoop products now, I’m having a hard time matching what I want to which product best suits those wants. Basically, I’m looking for my face, in the summertime, good spf coverage with a sheer tint to make my face look like itself but better I would primarily wear the product on its own but occasionally I may layer concealer and/or light foundation on top.

I’ve narrowed it to glowscreen, glowscreen soft radiance drops, and protec(tint).

I think that protec(tint) is tinted sunscreen with a fancy name Any idea of how much tint this provides - sheer, thick, buildable? Is it drying?

The 2 glowscreen products seem to add tint and glow/dewiness. I like the idea of that in the summer, although I don’t want to look greasy or sparkly. What is the difference between these 2 products? Any idea of how much tint they provide, esp as compared to each other and protec(tint)?

Thanks in advance for any info.

It's very sheer. I like glowscreen but wish it wasn't as sheer. I still use a bit of concealer over it.

My favorite is "unseen sunscreen" because it's such a great primer too. I like the city serum for when I need to use more sunscreen in the summer.

Whatever you do, don't buy off Amazon. I've used supergoop products for years and every time I buy off Amazon it's fake. And I know this because the scent is off, consistency is off, and I have burned!

I honestly can’t stand most of the Goop products. Glowscreen made me look like a disco ball. Unseen has a terrible slippery texture. Don’t understand the hype. It’s just bad, overpriced sunscreen.

I am mid 40s and the unscreen breaks me out - too thick and the fillers clog my pores. I just tried the Glowscreen SPF 40 Sunscreen with Hyaluronic Acid + Niacinamide and the same happened. FYI.

If you want a tint/shimmer, try the Kosas DreamBeam. The Glowscreen broke me out too, had to stop using it.

Mid 40s and the exact same thing happened to me! I was so annoyed

They're PACKED with silicones which are triggering to a lot of people. They give me cystic acne and I'm not particularly acne prone normally.

NP - Do they make a body sunscreen that's like the Unseen for face? I really like the Unseen (and the TJs knock-off) and would love something similar (light, smooth, unscented) for body.

Do you wear original or sunlit of the Kosas? and what is your skin tone?

I love Unseen Sunscreen for my combination skin.

Glowscreen looked terrible on me. Like smearing glittery foundation all over my face.

I also find the silicones in supergoop clog my pores.

I use a drugstore not too expensive facial sunscreen (I like La Roche Posay Anthelios), and then I add some Saie Glowy Gel on top. I do it this two-step way so that I make sure to apply a good amount of sunscreen without worrying about how expensive it was, but then I get the benefit of the glow/primer. Also there are times I just want the sunscreen on my face without the glow and this gives me that option, too.

PP here - I wear the original and my skin is fair/light

Glowscreen was too shiny for me too. I felt like it took me back to my bath & bodyworks sparkle days.
