We just had a speech therapist evaluate her and she asked if my DC has always had hoarse or husky voice, which DC did. When DC was getting evaluated two years ago, another speech therapist asked the same question.
Basically, the speech therapist mentioned enlarged adenoids and recommended doing sleep study. Any recs preferably in NOVA or DC? DC is diagnosed with ASD level 1. Thanks in advance. |

I’m not sure why this would require a sleep study unless there was a sleep specific issue. I’d start with an ENT.
Adenoids eventually go away if they aren’t removed so whether this recommendations makes sense may depend on how old your child is. |
