Aruba with Teens?

Looking to book an all-inlcusive in Aruba for spring break 2026. Teen sons will be 15 and 17. Any recommendations for where to stay? Where to avoid? They love meeting others on vacation - so a place with lots of kids their age is ideal.

We went to Aruba over fall break with two teens. We didn’t stay in an all-inclusive. But, we walked around the Palm Beach area and I bet one of those all-inclusives would be a good fit. Rent a car to explore the island further.

My only advice is definitely book underwater scooters.

We’ve stayed at the Holiday Inn palm beach twice with a tween.
It’s not super fancy but it’s nice and has an awesome location. Pools are very close and are right on the beach.
Not all inclusive either but has restaurants on site and their breakfast is amazing. Best buffet breakfast I’ve ever seen anywhere.
You can walk outside and be right where the shops/restaurants/stalls are, I’d let teens wander around off site.
There is a pirate ship snorkeling cruise within walking distance that was fun. Had a rope swing as well off the bow which my kid loved. That might be kid dependent.

I don’t think AI is super big in Aruba. There’s a great restaurant district and you’d lose the advantage of that. We stayed at the marriot vacation club with the lazy river which is very nice to float with a frozen drink plus it’s right on the beach. My teens enjoyed jet skiing and also we rented a private catamaran with a rope swing, which was a lot of fun. We also did a deep sea fishing trip but it was miserable due to tough seas — don’t know if that’s common or we just got unlucky.

Oh, and definitely stop at the grocery store and buy the waffle cookies with caramel. They make them fresh there and they are so incredibly good. I brought some home but then wished I had brought a whole crate.

I don't recommend AI in Aruba. It's not nearly as common and isn't necessary. Try to stay in Palm Beach. It's the high rise area and has tons of restaurants and shops. The teens can walk to places like Eduardo's Beach shack or the greek place for lunch. There are tons of ship excursions that are in that area. Rent a Jeep and take a drive on the wild side of the island. I'm not a fan of the ATVs. If the ClubMed or Sandals or whatever hasn't ruined Baby Beach, head down there one morning for a relaxing beach morning. Rent a sunshade from the guys on the beach and enjoy the beautiful water and easy snorkling.
