Did the Maury principal leave? I heard rumblings on a neighborhood listserv but everyone was being secretive. Curious as to what happened? I’ve heard there have been several fights and other behavior issues.

I'm at a nearby DCPS with a principal we struggle with and I've heard nothing but good things about the Maury principal (+ the Chisholm and Payne ones). I also haven't seen any chatter on local listservs, so I am confused by the OP in general.

The principal is on maternity leave and now I think the assistant principal just went on paternity leave. Haven’t heard anything nefarious. -Parent of 2 at Maury
