Nice hotel in southern Virginia/West Virginia/Pennsylvania for bicycling on trails?

Anonymous
We are a family of four and love to go bicycling for longer trail rides. We've visited many of Virginia's rail-trails over the years. We love luxury -- no camping for us.

Does anyone have recommendations for really nice hotels in southern Virginia, or even in Pennsylvania or West Virginia which are somewhat close to bicycle trails?

I'm struggling with the ask of this. Are you asking for one of those three locations or something that combines them (which isn't really possible)

The Great Allegheny Passage is nice. Anywhere along the 150-mile trail could work but Cumberland would be good base. Maybe stay at the Bedford and take your bikes from there? There's also the Allegheny Trail House in Frostburg, MD.

Looking for nice hotel recommendations, basically -- an hour or less aware from trails.

I’ve heard good things about The Martha Inn and Spa in Abingdon, VA. It’s close to the Virginia Creeper Bike Trail.
