Arlington and NVA made ECNL playoffs at the 2012 age group.
|
That’s amazing. How many champions league qualifiers do those clubs have in the recruiting age groups? Where it actually matters. |
In the weakest ENCL conference. Come back if you do something in California |
MA is nowhere near the weakest conference. |
|
It's amazing how far FVU has fallen off in this age group. It'll only keep trending that way.
And I'd bet that VDA continues to improve. |
LMAO....not near the weakest....just the weakest..... |
LMAO this parent lives and breathes 13 year old girl soccer... what is wrong with you lmao |
From 7th place?! Certainly plenty of room for improvement. |
Is this not a DC area message board??? |
It is. And, in line with general DMV insularity, we tend to think our “elite” soccer teams are good, and then they play a team from Cali. |
That person means let's see how these teams do in playoffs next month in San Diego. Will either team make it to top 8 and come back to play in Richmond? Answer is highly unlikely. It's one thing to be highly ranked until the local teams play against lower ranked teams from CA and TX. How do our girls lose to lower ranked teams? Playing the local league creates an artificial ranking. |
| I wish Arlington and Richmond luck in California. They have very talented players who have worked hard to get to this point. |
BINGO. Arlington and NVA are big fish in a small pond. NVA will find out next fall when they make the jump to MLSNext. Enjoy it while it lasts. |
Unless it’s women’s soccer, where I don’t have a clue. |
Wasn’t FVU in 2nd place at some point? What happened? I’ve heard people are unhappy with the coach and style of play, but I figured sour grapes. Maybe not seeing the rank outcomes? They seem to be sliding backwards. The tied a near last place team this weekend. VDA is a developed club that has results at the top levels, so it does seem likely you see talent head there. |
