NYC ice cream museum

Is this worth a visit? I have a tween that’s excited about the idea, but I can’t tell from the pictures.

Hell yes!

DH took DS when he was 11. They had fun and enjoyed the treats. It's very gimmicky and DH said it definitely felt it was made more for social media than for fun. He didn't think it was worth the cost but it wasn't a complete waste of money either.

If you have a tween that would like being able to take fun pictures, then they will definitely enjoy it more than if they are looking for fun activities.

It’s super gimmicky but my daughter (age 13) and her friend loved it. Ice cream in every room and the end is a sprinkle pool to play in. Ridiculous but fun.

The ice cream isn't that good but the kids had fun. We had more fun at the color factory!

OMG do not go! We went over spring break and still joke it was the dumbest place. It was a terrible choice. First, you wait in long lines to enter even at your assigned time. On the inside you wait in a long line for a staff person to tell you to choose an ice cream name. Then you wander the exhibits at your own speed. The place was dirty. There wasn’t actually much to see. The ice cream was very melty and below average. It was a gimmick and I really regret taking my family. Find another activity.

Went to college with the founder. He’s been on a quest to do gimmicky stuff to be rich and famous since day 1. He did something really awful to one of his supposed friends during college that was middle-school level bullying but adult-level content with zero consequences.

Somehow he’s still untouchable, dirty fake museum exhibits and all.

My 10 year old daughter loved it.
Silly but fun!
