| Anyone drive a hybrid RAV4 4 or CR-V? How do they compare to the non-hybrid models? Are they worth it? |
| Sister has the CRV said she will never buy another Honda. She’s also had the RAV. She liked it better. Honda is a lot less cheap looking on the inside imo. |

Recently test drove both. Going in the RAV4 hybrid was our top choice. But we liked the drive on the CRV much better. It felt smoother and quieter to us (and the dealership loaned it to us for two hours which really let us get a taste). We did go a trim level up from base hybrid, and that sealed the deal for us.
However, we’ve only had it for a month! Obviously we still love it, but also probably would’ve been happy with the RAV4 if we went that route. |

I had CRV but sold it and got a RAV4 hybrid limited. Love it. And love the rear emergency braking system that Hondas do not have.
Just bought a Toyota grand highlander hybrid. Don’t think will be going back to Honda |
| Look at the Mazda CX-5. |
Why does your sister not like her CRV? |
Aren't the Mazda's CX-5 and CX-50 smaller than the Rav4 and CRV? |
| I have Rav4 Prime and the range is enough I almost never have to use gas mode. I quite like the car. |
| Went with CRV. RAV4 seats were less comfortable and driver gas/brake peddle leg area seemed tight. CRV's infotainment system is a bit unintuitive and clunky. |
Not a hybrid |
| We did test drives on the hybrid Rav4, CRV, and Tucson hybrids. Surprisingly, we were most impressed with the Tucson. |
We're looking at the Grand Highlander hybrid and they seem to be hard to find. Dealership tried to convince us that the gas mileage isn't much different from the gas model. Either way, unfortunately I think there are no deals to be found due to supply and demand for the Grand but DH is set on it. |

Thanks everybody! We are considering getting g one of these 2 as our first suv!
These both seem so outdoorsy and edgy!! |

We went with the CRV Hybrid and I've been happy with it after about a year and a half. I liked it and the Rav-4 but the tie breaker was simply that the dimensions of the CRV cargo area fit our travel dog crate and the Rav-4 didn't.
I don't think you can go wrong with either, or, as a PP mentioned, the Hyundai Tucson, which my sister just bought. |
Is the Hyundai about the same in terms of passenger and storage space as the CRV or Rav-4? |
