FTP here. Overdid at my DD first birthday and want to rethink for her 2nd party in June between 2-4pm.
Good food is important to us. Any ideas on good and toddler friendly food options to serve between 2-4pm. Thinking fruits platter Cheese platter Milk boxes Veg platter with a dip Pretzels and gold fish Cake Thanks so much |
| It's only snack time, so do those mini water bottles, fruit platter, pretzels OR gold fish, and cake. |
Great idea on water bottle! Thanks |
| I think that all sounds fine from 2-4pm, but for a 2 y/o won’t that time overlap with naps? |
You have to be kidding about the bolded items for toddlers.

| Chick-fil-A nuggets tray. |
Np. I've seen kids eat fruit, cheese and veggies at parties... I wouldn't go overboard with the veggie platter, but a small one is fine ime. |
| It's prime nap time so that's an odd party time. Do 2 kinds of cheese and cube it or mini mozzarella balls or similar. Veggies are choking hazard. Pretzels (flat ones are fancy) or tortilla chips. And some cut up fruit. Don't over do it. |

Are you inviting adults only? Or will other 2 year olds also be there?
Does your child not nap? We wouldn’t go because it’s nap time We got invited to a 2 year olds bday party during nap time a long time ago, and we didn’t go, turns out no body else attended either |
Um, no. This is DCUM, not the Southern MAGA forum. |
I often see these items at 2-3 year old parties and plenty of kids eat them. Adults will enjoy too. |
If you don’t think fruit and vegetables are good kid food then I dunno what to tell you |
| I mean the parents will snack too, so I think it's fine. |
The CFA nuggets platter is always the first food to run out at every local party I attend |
Do you live in Mississippi or somewhere along those lines? Most people in my circle boycott chick-filled-hate and don’t let their children eat it. |
