Is the boundary change DEI in disguise?

I have seen equity thrown around as the real reason and on a FB group someone said their board rep discounted their complaint their kid would have longer bus rides and be moved from an under capacity school to an over capacity school. That the response was how the school could use active parent to help raise the school.

I am not fond of this administration but this would very much put FCPS federal money in jeopardy. Which is $168.1 million and possibly federal-state grants which is a similar number.

And seems incredibly stupid to continue down this road.

FCPS is already set to lose federal funding. They aren't disguising anything and are boldly embracing DEI. I think they are grossly overestimating how much parents are willing sacrifice to the equity gods

By declining to sign the Title VI compliance letter. They're picking a fight with the state and the Trump administration.
