hold music complaint

| This is the pettiest gripe of all time, but I'm going to gripe about it anyway. Why is hold music always SO terrible? Most of the time it's scratchy, and even worse are the ones they have a small pause between segments of the hold music and it makes you think someone has answered (Capitol Medical Group, I am looking at you). I beg you, all companies, please have a recording that says: there will be silence while you are on hold. Gripe over. |

Wait what about when they haven’t paid for sufficient bandwidth for their hold lines so it cuts in and out and is crackly?
Also what about when it pauses and then there’s a repetitive announcement from a person and then it starts again? I also hate really rapid cycling hold music. Pay for more than two measures of a melody if you’re not going to pay for sufficient humans to take my call. |
