One quarter of negative economic growth in. No way they turn this ship around in 2nd quarter. We're heading for a recession. So much winning!

Trump is already blaming Biden. Trump says it’s an overhang from the last administration. Funny thing about that, we had growth in Biden’s last eight quarters. Hmm.

Trump is delusional. Just watch the interview where he genuinely believes Abrego Garcia had MS13 tattooed on his knuckles.

Ever read about the old kings and emperors who believed everything was great because that's all they were told, and their egos wouldn't let them believe they were the problem? That is Trump.

I guess all those constant downward adjustments to the Atlanta Fed’s GDPNow forecast over the last three months weren’t reported by Trump’s favorite media outlets.

trade deficit at record numbers even with tariffs. And Trump thinks the tariffs won't impact US consumers. He actually thinks China will eat the costs.

Consumer confidence about the same now as when we were coming out of covid - very low.

A lot of this is pull-forward spending to stock up on inventories ahead of the tariffs. That's literally all the growth in Q1 - getting ahead of the tariffs because of the Administration's rhetoric. I know my family was spending ahead of time to hunker down in latter half of 2025.
