Travel clubs in Loudoun (not Revolution, LS, STJ, Sterling)

Anonymous
Do travel clubs exist in Loudoun that are not Revolution, LS, STJ, or Sterling? Looking for 2012 girls competing in mid to upper division NCSL or EDP. Not finding much online.

DD is a great goalkeeper, but has come to the age to realize she doesn't want to give up her whole life to try to play in college. She would be bored out of her mind on rec, but has played for or trained with the above clubs and has no desire to return. Is there such a thing as a competitive travel team that isn't focused on GA/ECNL college pathways where the kids actually like each other?

I'm at a loss. Any ideas?

Is Herndon close enough?

There is a Leesburg Football Club but not sure where they play. There is also a Loudoun East team. Other than that close enough, Herndon or Great Falls

Which club does your DD current plays at?

Great 2012G coach at Loudoun East and they’ll be playing in NCSL, new team.

PSA has some travel teams that play in NCSL under Leesburg FC. I think they play at Hansen.

Herndon is trying to put together a new 2012 team I believe, so I doubt they have a GK yet.

That would be good. I was reading about them on this board and they kind of get a lot of hate for girl's programs. Do you have any personal experience?

Different poster here. To be fair, every club gets hate on these forums. It would not surprise me if one/a couple individuals, without kids in the sport, intentionally do it for the "lols" and all the insecure has been and never were parents jump into the fray.

Our only interaction has been through tryouts. We’re currently at one of the clubs on your no list and are also looking for a different club. I can only tell you that we’ve enjoyed our conversations with the coach so far.

I know you are so right. I take the comments on here with a grain of salt. But, I also should've listened to them for our current situation hahaha

Check out he NCSL standings for the age group divisions to see where the teams compete. Not many VA clubs participate in EDP in the Spring.
