Surprise weekend trip to a new state for a concert/hike or skiing.
Buy a suitcase put a bow on it and inside put an itinerary with the plane/ hotel tickets/reservations. Buy concert tickets and tell him your taking him out to dinner but you go to the concert. Rent a cabin and invite some of dh's favorite people for a weekend get together that includes any outdoor things dh likes. Turn it into a surprise party. Have everyone show up an hour before you and dh do and have them waiting outside with a happy birthday banner. |
