First 10 days of August. Family of 5. Choices are: England and Scotland; England and Ireland; or France. 3 of us have been to Paris but not the other two and all kids haven’t been anywhere else in France. All of us have been to London, but not for ages. Kids are 16, 19 and 25. Thanks! |
England and Scotland |
Kids are 16, 19 and 25. You ask them. |
Not France. |
We just did London and Scotland for 10 days for spring break, and it was awesome. Same as you, we'd been to London before but not since 2019, and there was still so much we wanted to do (and could have stayed there longer). |
I vote for England and Scotland! (But that's because I have never been to Scotland and would love to go.)
I hope you all have a great time wherever you end up. |
Another vote for England and Scotland.
I prefer Ireland with younger kids. I prefer France as its own trip, not a fan of the combo given how very different the UK is from France. |
Won’t many of these places be closed in August as that’s when Europeans vacation? |
Yes, England, Scotland and France "close" in August. The entire countries. |
England and Scotland. In fact that's what we are doing. |
Plenty to do in Scotland for 10 days. Personally I would just do that and cut out England. We did two weeks in just Scotland with our two adult (20s) children. Edinburgh, St Andrews, Highlands, Inverness, Isle of Skye, Lewis-Harris (we had a rental car for the time outside of Edinburgh). And there are lots of other spots we just didn’t have time for. |
^This. Would not go to Europe in August |
England and Scotland!
