It feels a little dead right now. The Pitt ended and I'm halfway through Hacks. Not seeing much else that looks good.
I discovered an oldie that I really enjoyed "Why Women Kill." The title put me off before, but I'm so glad I gave it a try. Wonderful cast and thoroughly entertaining. Lucy Liu was just fantastic in it. Season 2 unfortunately seems like a dud comparatively. Anyone watching something good, whether old or new? |
| DH and I struggle to find shows to watch together but we’ve both liked Your Friends and Neighbors and The Residence. The Studio is cute too. |

Your Friends and Neighbors |

Andor started off kind of slow. Lots of talking and too many characters to keep track of.
After a great couple months there really isn't much on. I'm thinking of watching Six Feet Under. I tried The Bear but couldn't deal with all the shouting. |
| Dying for sex is excellent. Black mirror is great. |
| Paradise is great, if you haven't watched it yet. |

I'm curious about Murderbot next month. |
I know people love Black Mirror but that first episode was so disturbing I didn't watch any further. |

The Last of Us

The Residence
Shrinkage The Resident |
Our exact taste too! |
| I just started The Last Anniversary, based on a book by the Big Little Lies author, and I'm liking it so far. But does require yet another streaming service, AMC+. |

I’m enjoying Your Friends and Neighbors (shocking me because I don’t like John Hamm. He’s actually reasonable in this).
Also liking the studio. If you like mysteries and more heavy stuff, I always recommend the killing. You can find it on Hulu. It’s old, but it is a masterpiece in storytelling and acting. For lighter stuff, a show called Single Drunk Female is cute - ran for 2 seasons and has a little Ally Sheedy Molly ringwald reunion which made my GenX heart sing. |
This show was phenomenal. |
