Wedding gift for nanny

Anonymous
My nanny is getting remarried tomorrow and we are invited to the wedding celebration (she already had the ceremony but is having a party). She is in her early 50s with 2 grown kids.

Trying to figure out how much to give her. For context, we pay her $1100 per week and gave her a holiday bonus of $2200.

DH was thinking $500 but I am concerned that isn’t enough since she is hosting us all at this party (although I doubt she is spending a crazy amount on it).

What would you give?

$500 - 1000 is good
Do you know if her heritage has lucky numbers? Maybe aim for that. A lot of people gave us $888 at our wedding

$500 is totally reasonable and respectable.

Even $250 is a good amount, so you're totally fine.

How long has she worked for you? If just a year or two, $250-300.

$500 is fine.

I typically spent around $100-150 on friends’ wedding gifts. Gosh, even if my office goes in on a gift for a coworker it doesn’t top $250. I would say $200 is plenty!

$500 would be amazing! I think even $250 would be fine.

What ever you want. You don't pay her a huge amount.
