Does summer school pay the same as the regular 10 months?

A friend encourages me to apply to teach summer school at her school as they have multiple openings. I would do it if it netted me an 11th month essentially. Otherwise, I will probably just teach camp again.

Schedule: Monday through Friday

Students will have a 4.5 hour instructional day.

Bell times for students will be either 8:45 a.m.-1:15 p.m. or 9:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m.

Work times for teachers will be 5.5 hours.

Schedules for teachers will vary and will be determined by the school.

Professional staff members will be paid at the Summer Employment (SE) rate. The SE rate is determined by dividing each teacher’s annual salary by 1,560, the number of hours paid in a 195-day school year
