Crisp and Juicy Dupe?

Hoping someone here can help me out with what should be a simple recipe! My kids are obsessed with the rice and beans and Crisp and Juicy. I googled a copycat recipe and a million different recipes came up, but none referencing that particular restaurant. I could try out a bunch and see if I can find one that’s a close match, but before I do that-does anyone have a close recipe?

Goya black beans (listos para comer, in the red can) are pretty great. They are seasoned well enough to add one more can of plan beans (blue can).
I can’t remember if the rice is seasoned, but if you cook dry rice in a bit of oil with a chopped clove of garlic and a little turmeric, and use a stock cube from the Latin aisle with the water

The recipe almost certainly has some variety of MSG in it, probably from a Maggi product.
