Infertility Support and Discussion
|
I took the summer 'off' from fertility treatments and just called CFA today to schedule monitoring for my upcoming FET. Looks like there has been a major turnover in IVF nurses (the two I mostly worked with- Emily and Nidra- are gone). Anyone know what is going on?
Thanks! |

I'm not quite sure, but the new ones seem competent and responsive so far.
I know, though, it is jarring. |
| unfortunately turnover in staff is not a good sign for infertility practices especially in this economy! |
| Great- thanks! I talked to Jamie today and she seemed on top of things. |
Actually, the job market for nurses is booming -even in economically depressed areas. And infertility nurses are on call at times, work weekends, etc. |
| Both Emily and Nidra are gone??? I talked to Nidra three weeks ago, so this is really recent. That's a bummer. They were both really nice. |

I know- it is sad to see them go. I just spoke to them both a few weeks ago myself. I spoke to Jamie on the phone yesterday and met Vanessia (sp?) today. Both seem on top of things.

| They had a big shake up over the summer, which included getting rid of the Arlington nurse, who I loved. Jamee is now the Arlington nurse, but they keep pulling her to DC because they are understaffed. I think the office manager sucks and can not get things righted over there, especially with billing. If I did not love my doctor, I would probably look elsewhere. |
| PP - Is Jessica in Arlington no longer there? |
| Jessica is no longer with CFA. She is now the head nurse at the new GIVF office in Bethesda. |
