Intern John I'm Pregnant signs

Anonymous
There are signs hanging on an overpass on 495 saying "Intern John I'm Pregnant".

Obviously this refers to the morning host of Hot 99.5. But do you think it’s a marketing stunt or did he impregnant someone and then ghost her?

I saw the signs yesterday on a pedestrian overpass before I got off 270 at Wisconsin Ave.
My initial reaction was somebody was just making an announcement that they wanted to have put on radio or something. Why would somebody tell a man that they're pregnant with their baby with a sign like that? Makes no sense to me.

is there a name on them? if not how are they asking him to talk about it on the radio? If it's just an "I'm pregnant" sign it sounds more like the OPs thoughts

Who listens to the radio anymore? Probably a publicity stunt to get people to tune in.

I don't think my teens could name one local radio DJ. They know HOT99.5 and DC101 from seeing them at different events, but I don't think they've ever listened to the radio. I'm going to ask my kids if they know who Intern John is or who Elliot in the morning is.

None of us listen to the radio in my family, except me, and it's always classical.

Guessing publicity stunt because this guy is a hack. After his behavior after Kane died, pretending he was close to the family, etc.. I’ve been disgusted with him. I have no idea how marble mouth has a job on radio.

Because most of the commuters seeing the sign will probably not have a clue, PP. Radio is a thing of the past.

I saw one too on 495 and have been wondering about it. But don’t care enough to listen to him on the radio. Googled it and nothing came up.

100% chance it’s a stunt.

He’s doing a bit on it tomorrow am at 7:15 am. I listen to the radio in the car and often hear Intern John. My daughter has a clock radio in her room and also listens to the radio. She likes it.

I listen to it in the mornings on my non work days while getting ready, eating breakfast.
My kid knows who he is, she’s 12.
Radio is still a thing

Many commuters stream iHeartRadio.

Rage bait. This concept is huge among the younger kids.
