Transportation to UMass Amherst, Smith, Hampshire College, Amherst, Mt. Holyoke

I would like to send my teen to visit a school out in this area - UMass Amherst, Smith, Hampshire College, Amherst, Mt. Holyoke - on her own. The closest airport is in Hartford, CT. I would prefer to order a car service rather than an Uber or bus (I've had bad experiences with Uber and the timing of her flight makes it so that public transportation will cause her to miss too much). Does anyone have a recommendation for a car or shuttle service option that's reliable and not too expensive?

Valley Transporter. Another option is taking Amtrak from DC or BWI to Northampton.

..... and we flew last week - I think Amtrak would have been faster between getting to the airport, flight delays, etc

We used Bradley Limo service but it was not cheap. Valley transporter is cheaper and fine for a kid traveling alone. My DD had a bad early morning experience where they were late and she missed her flight. That reminds me , though, Bradley is a nightmare in the mornings and security lines are insanely long. Unless your kid had precheck (which mine does), it will take forever and you need to leave time.

Uber from Bradley to NoHo is fine but there are not a lot (any?) Ubers in NoHo so don’t count on Uber to get back. There are several cab companies that are reliable in NoHo if it comes to it.
