Ideas for 13 yo?

DD no longer wants to do what she thinks are kiddie camps and I'm looking for ideas to keep her happily preoccupied all summer. She doesn't want to do babysitting. Are there any fun AND educational places she can volunteer? She has an interest in mycology but it's hard to find volunteer jobs for her in this area.

What about a teen tour camp? They leave Monday and come back Friday.

At 13 she is simply to young to work on the books, and lacks the maturity to volunteer.
