Have we become descentized about beautiful women?
It seems as if today every woman is beautiful, in great shape, wears the same formed fitting clothing, hair/makeup always done, beautiful skin, beautiful eye lashes etc When I met my ex wife 25.years ago it wasn't like this. I feel like 25 years ago you had to peel layers and layers. Now it's readily available. |

Yes we have. Despite women being more independent, their objectification continues to worsen. Take onlyfans as classic textbook example. Most content is provided by women for men to consume. To justify this objectification for women, they argue that women making money on this platform is empowering. They are just low hanging fruits. The owners of that site most likely men are the ones profiteering.
Back to your question. It's a tricky question because women argue that you "don't have to look".and they are not putting on make up etc for you. But at the same time if they are single and looking they expect you to compliment them on the effort they put in. But overall I'll agree that men (thanks for social media another vehicle to exploit women) have become decentized. Maybe that's why you now so many men under 40 needing Viagra... |

No. Just because society tells me someone is beautiful doesn't mean I think they are.
I will give you that as we get older and have more experience seeing things in the world, we're not as awed as we were when we were younger, so maybe in THAT sense we could become desensitized. But it's like, the first time we see a horse in real life it's awesome but when we're 60 and see yet another horse in real life, we're like eh, it's a horse. |

Where do you meet that many beautiful women OP? I’m a woman and it strikes me how unattractive (on average) are women in gyms now.

I’ve only found the above in the south- tan, blond, all biz/marketing majors or nursing majors, sororities, can’t hold a conversation on anything going on in the world unless it’s yoga, shopping, Cabo trips, or working for Daddy’s friends. No wonder no one leaves, their “social capital” is severely constrained to only where they grew up. |

Not so many conformist clones in the NE or California or even the Midwest. Same for make up and hair done. Nope. They look professional, but did not wake up and do some asinine 60 minute skin & hair routine. They have better things to do with their time. |
