A completely random topic…our current chairs we use to watch games are breaking so we need to invest in new ones. We like ones with a canopy to keep the sun out of our eyes. Any recommendations for canopy chairs?

Get the kind where the canopy wraps around the chair when you fold it up. Way better than trying to shove a chair back into a sleeve. People seem happy with the ones they’ve gotten from Costco. I think ours is from Amazon.

Chairs are so overrated, just stand up and pace or stand in place and watch the game...or just stay at home and watch the game on veo live...

I purchased a Renetto chair about 8 years ago and it’s still going strong. Now we have 2. It has a canopy that folds around it to create the case and you carry it like a backpack. This chair has been lugged to/from hundreds of baseball and soccer games and has not been treated gently but still looks like new. It is incredibly comfortable and provides lots of shade. I would buy it again tomorrow though I can’t imagine needing to replace one given their current perfect condition. The downside is price. Before owning these we’d gone through many folding camp style chairs that were a fraction of the price.

GCI Outdoor Sunshade Comfort Pro Chairs from Amazon or Dicks are great. The canopy can be adjusted to block the sun vs the type that have the canopy that wraps around them are not adjustable.

We have a Kelsyus, which is the wrap around style others have been mentioning. Very happy with it, but they are decently heavy.

Especially for the price, everyone seems happy with the GCI chairs. We have one with the sunshade, and it's nice. But we often just take the basic rockers and put a golf umbrella in the phone sleeve to keep it stable. The sunshade is good for keeping sun out of your eyes, but the umbrella offers more coverage if you're worried about getting accidentally sunburned.

I stand and tense my muscles up so much that I usually come close to passing out. I do not recommend.
