| We have recently moved to the area and are looking at Trinity School at Meadowview for our DC who is currently at a large public school. We feel DC needs a smaller environment to thrive. We have heard the curriculum at the school is great but wondering how the math teachers are given they teach calculus C to everyone at the school. Also what colleges do the top students go to from this school and how’s their basketball and lacrosse program? Please share any insights you have about the school. |

I heard a rumor that it may be having financial issues.
I tried to look into it but there are 2 schools with Trinity in the name, so it could be a misunderstanding. You may want to ask them directly about their financial "health". I have friend whose child just graduated and a friend whose child is a senior. A pretty right-wing set of families, but when I run into them at games, they are very warm and loving. Like the parents roll up their sleeves to help at the a games and the students are really really polite. |

We have some friends with multiple children at Trinity at Meadowview (middle school and high school) and we looked at the school ourselves for one of our kids when they were approaching high school.
My impression is that the academic curriculum is very strong across all areas (including math) and a student that is a good fit for a smaller school would thrive there. For my kid, he opted for a different school that was probably a better fit for his personality. I recently spoke with my friends whose kids are at Trinity at Meadowview and so I think I know what the PP was referring to regarding financial issues. Apparently, Trinity at Meadowview has for years been affiliated with several other "Trinity" schools across the country. There has been some recent organizational changes and I understand that the Trinity at Meadowview school has terminated those previous affiliations and reorganized as independent. From what I hear, Trinity at Meadowview is in a much stronger financial position than the other schools, so that may be part of why they wanted to separate; in any case, from what I hear I think that Trinity at Meadowview is doing fine financially and I don't think that is a concern. Regarding sports, as a smaller school, I don't think they're very strong in comparison to larger private schools in the area. My friends' children played various sports with the school just for fun, but they weren't winning any championships or raving about the strength of the athletic programs -- it's more of an extracurricular thing students do just for fun. |
Trinity Schools, Inc. runs TSMV: https://trinityschools.org/ Trinity Christian in Fairfax is another with the name "Trinity" but it's a K-12 and totally unrelated (curriculum between the 2 schools are pretty different). |
The Trinity Schools, Inc website still lists TSMV as one of their schools, so either the website is out of date or this would have to be a very recent change. |
| We have friends there and it seems like a great school. It is small though, so we did not consider it for our ds in the end. It is conservative and a classically-oriented education. You would have to really want those elements for it to be the right school for your child. |
| Fascinating stuff on the Trinity in Indiana - looks like there's absolutely shenanigans going on: https://www.reddit.com/r/SouthBend/comments/1k3xjng/trinity_school_splitting_in_two/ |
And Wikipedia thinks:
(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trinity_School_at_Greenlawn) Maybe TSMV is indeed splitting from TSI, but as of very, very recently. |
| On July 1, 2025 Trinity Academy Meadow View took over operations from Trinity School at Meadow View, becoming an independent school. While the name has changed, the mission, culture, and educational vision remains the same. |
Happened summer 2025, before the new school year started. |
