Hmmmm, I saw more concern for this before April 5th and yet the protests across the country were HUGE and nonviolent - and there was no need for or any indication of an over the top response.

I don't think this is a moment to worry or anticipate what might happen. Our Constitution is being defiled. Congress has abdicated all responsibility. The Supreme Court is being ignored.

The so-call red lines have been crossed.

What are we waiting for? We must peacefully show our resistance to Trump.

This all stems from the EO Trump signed in January declaring a national emergency at the southern U.S. border

The theory is trump will invoke the Insurrection Act of 1807 on April 20, 2025, followed by him declaring martial law. (The Insurrection Act grants U.S. presidents the power to deploy the military into states for civilian law enforcement.)

He could theoretically do this if the "emergency" isn't solved after 90 days.

Even a month ago, I woild have said conspiracy rumor unthinkable.

Yes, it’s always a concern because if illegal drugs and casual attitudes towards using drugs. I never feel safe that day. Too many people using bad judgement.
