Hi,
We would love to hear any positive/negative experiences about these clubs as their tryouts are overlapping and it seems like we need to pretty much decide on one to focus on if we want to attend multiple tryouts. Would also love any insight on what schedules and/or practice locations tend to look like. I realize there is a lot of variability depending on teams/coaches but would love to hear any perspectives that could help us decide where to concentrate our efforts. Thanks! |

What are you looking for in a club? BSC and McLean (and Union for McLean +) have already filled their top teams (ECNL/GA) . Can your girl compete at this level? If so, those two. Are you looking for 2nd or 3rd tier? BSC has depth at 2013s. McLean will be in a transition year with most of their top team populating into Union ECNL but will still have a strong GA team. PPA 2013 girls were previously a top team but have started to spread out to other clubs with paths for opportunities. GA2/Aspire may slow that move. Do not have personal perspective on Potomac but they seem to be competing at a decent level and GA2/Aspire should help with that retention.

| I’m assuming your DD is not at the level of a first team player since you’re asking this question in mid-April. If that’s right, pick the club that is most convenient for you. |
| Go to club with coach that your kid is motivated to play for. If not ECNL or GA, move to one at U15 at the very latest but still prioritize coach. |
| The PPA 2013 green coach is amazing. If your dd gets an offer for that team, she should take it. |
| Potomac 2013 1st team (Premier 1) great group of girls/families and a great and very dedicated coach. Next year I believe this team will play in GA-A so their team name may reflect that. |
| I like the 2013 McLean coach. Great with team. |
You mean Clyde? Because he’s gone. |
