Have had a challenging time getting this processed - keeps getting kicked back for unacceptable photos, even though we had professional passport photos taken.
Any suggestions/advice? Now on the third submission of photos.

Take them yourselves. Lots are reporting this issue so just keep trying.

Try one of the passport photo apps. Here is one persons solution:

"Third time was the charm for us. Hair had to be completely slicked back, very unnatural looking in my opinion but they took it. The other issue we had was with the pixels. We taped our passport picture on a white piece of paper. My husband took a picture of it with his phone and then cropped that picture to get the required pixels. It finally worked. We had ours approved last week."
