Palestinians protest Hamas / war but too hungry to continue

“ The demonstrations, which broke out in late March, represented the boldest challenge to Hamas in years and underscored the desperation among Palestinians in Gaza to end the war. The protests have now largely petered out, with Gazans attributing the decline to Hamas pressure and the preoccupation of the enclave’s besieged residents with searching for food and fleeing Israeli strikes and evacuation orders.
The protests, which were also against the war, took many Gazans by surprise, given that Hamas regularly clamps down on dissent.”

Protests in to Beit Lahia, Khan Younis, Jabalya and other cities, had marching men yelled, “Hamas out” and called for an end to the war.

“Gaza residents have said that . “Human loss doesn’t mean anything to Hamas.”
While protesters made clear their demand that Israel end its “genocide” against the Palestinians, the anti-Hamas sentiment that surfaced was the biggest indicator yet of the public’s growing dissatisfaction with the militant group and its handling of the war.
“The people of Gaza are the last thing they care about,” said Areej Ahmed, 30, a Gaza City resident.”

Much like Trump is doing to protesters against the war, Hamas is looking for the protesters and have given them threatening phone calls and summons to Hamas office. Obviously Hamas can’t kick them out of a country that doesn’t exist but they can have them killed.

In local media, anonymous Hamas officials branded the protesters as collaborators with Israel. Just like Trump brands the protesters here as antisemitic. So much in common.

Way too little, way too late. By supporting Hamas all along, they sowed the whirlwind they now reap.

Oh, so the claim that all the Palestinians needed to do to end the war crimes and genocide being inflicted upon them 24/7 was to “Reject Hamas and call for the release of the hostages” was just another lie propagated by the hasbara mouth breathers and their neverending symphony of musical goal posts?

Wow, totally did not see that coming! /s

Who said they supported Hamas all along? You don’t get a choice when you are living under sociopaths and dictators who shoot if they even think you criticized them. We see for the first time a psychopath in office who spends his days getting back at people who have gone against him and it’s not even close to living under Hamas.

X1000 I don’t want to be killed because my fellow American idiots voted in this POS dictator (and let’s get real, both elections were likely rigged).

Here we go with another Hamas vs IDF thread. How do y'all find the time to post online with all the killing and hate that fills your days?

Those supporters bought their ticket, now they have to go for a ride. Oct 7th was a brutal massacre that wont be forgotten or forgiven.

Awareness and sunlight on global issues is the only hope at justice for all.

In my experience, it’s always radical, extremist Zionists who feel compelled to reduce attention to this particular issue, and who feel that it’s their right to insist upon the status quo.

How do you find time or energy to discourage others from raising awareness about the plight of the hostages on both sides and the even more egregious indiscriminate killing of tens of thousands of innocent civilians in Gaza and the West Bank in recent months?

Also, who is Hamas vs. IDF anyway? I’ve yet to encounter anyone who is anything other than contemptuous of Hamas, and I think most sober individuals know that the world would be much, much more peaceful if a Thanos finger snap could banish both of those groups for eternity.

So peaceful. So civilized. So Christ-like. So patriotic and a real law and order hero, observant and adherent to the Constitution and the rule of law.

Palestine is a Tale of Two Cities: The West Bank and the Gaza.

The West Bank chose Fatah. Gaza chose Hamas.

I'm surprised these folks are still alive at this point. Between the constant bombing, shooting, exposure to the elements, and the cutting off food supplies, how are they surviving?

And yet both continue to get systematically cleansed. Hmm?

And the idea that the largely 30 and under population chose Hamas in an election that happened 20 years ago is BS Israeli hasbara.
