| Is the salary spread out over 12 months? |
| 11 months. |
| Thank you. Is this 11 equal payments or somehow prorated to be different each month? |
August is the only check that is different. |
| I assume July is the month that is skipped? |
| What do they do about health insurance? Is it 12 months? |
| Health and retirement is taken over 10 months. |
| But coverage is 12 months, right? |
Yes. Coverage is 12 months. |
|
Pay roll is getting ready to change this and move to 12 paychecks starting 2026.
Teachers complain about being without a paycheck in July but the solution is easy. If you are an apple fed member they hold it for you and you get a July paycheck. I take out money each month and stash it in an account that is my July pay. |
That’s what we do. When they surveyed us about switching the pay periods, we voted to keep it as is. |

??? Hourly workers get paid overtime. |
Hourly workers? It’s too early for drunk posting. Get off the keyboard. |
Teachers have annual salaries. They are not hourly. This is misinformation. |
