MAGA/GOP can no longer complain about the deficit

The final death knell for the “fiscally responsible” party.

I never want to hear another word from the GOP about our debt or the deficit. The most fiscally irresponsible party.

What a bunch of posers.

With the budget approved, the way is open for a follow-on package to cut taxes by up to $5.3 trillion over a decade and raise the debt ceiling by $5 trillion, in exchange for $4 billion in spending cuts. Republicans can now pass Trump’s tax-cut agenda solely on GOP votes, bypassing the need for negotiations with Democrats.
Trump offered congressional Republicans “Congratulations” in a social media post minutes after the vote.

Reagan was the first to really balloon the national debt. The rest of the Republicans have continued in that vein, even though they lie and say they’re the party of fiscal responsibility.

Although with Trump at the head of our government, no one is accusing Republicans of being responsible anymore.

This thread will get little engagement and die quickly.

But rando posters claiming “Doge is saving us sooo much money!” and “the current admin is getting those govt spending under control!” will continue unabated.

Lol yeah. But start a thread about Biden deficits and the maga will trip over themselves to comment. They just don't care about their own deficits.
