Girls Basketball Summer Camp around Fairfax?

Anonymous
I'm looking for a girls basketball summer camp for my 10 year old daughter who is a beginner. I found that Oakton HS and Chantilly HS both have girls summer basketball camps. Does anyone have experience with either of them? Or if not, does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks!

Check out Evolution camps.
And camps at the St. James/Wooten.

Try Orange Line (my son attends boys camps)

Wootten sleepaway camps are great but the local camps held at St James are too crowded.

High school teams run one week day camps as fundraisers for their programs. They're less expensive than Evolution and the kids seem to enjoy playing with the older girls. My daughters have done the camps at Meridian and Marshall and both were good.

Has anyone tried the GMU girls basketball camp for that age?

OP here. Thank you! It is good to know that your daughters enjoyed the high school run basketball camps. I will probably try out one of them for my daughter since they are less expensive. Did you see improvement in your daughters' basketball skills?

Basketball skills are a slow to acquire. You need a lot of reps. No one is improving in a one week camp.
