The violence was so awful that police physically arrested the supervisory ATC and pressed criminal charges. These 2 Biden-era feds were transferred out of DCA. Criminal charges still pending.

When you bring two or three newbie, inexperienced ATCs in and tell them to handle Reagan airport, is anyone surprised?

Planes never got hit on the tarmac? This happened to me, at least once that I know about. Had another flight go back to the gate after it lined up for takeoff.

Why would you do that? DCA is one of the busiest airports in the country and is the recent scene of one of the worst collisions in aviation history. Now you're gong to put inexperienced people in charge?
