Buying a new laptop?

| DS has been struggling in school and we told him we'd buy him a new mid-range laptop if he buckled down and got good grades on his recent tests (as a bribe). He did and he did. Now we're wondering if this weekend would be a good time to buy a new laptop. Could we tell DC that we will buy him a higher-end laptop at the end of the school year if he keeps getting good grades? Or will laptop prices be impossibly-priced then? Any guesses? |

| I wouldn't move the bar on your DS after you promised something and he achieved the bar you set. That would be so demoralizing. |

| Get the cheapest one you can get. $300 one. They break so easily. |

That's a great point, thank you! I told DS that we would get him a laptop this weekend and he has one picked out.
